Do we have choices?
Sometimes I wonder, Is life predetermined? If so, then do our choices really matter? Does free will exist?
So let's say that life is predetermined but that's no reason to say that we don't have choices. People depend on destiny but destiny depends on us. We have been given the ability to analyse the situation and choose what's best. Our choices give rise to action, our actions are powered by our motivation and motivation arises from within us. All this leads to destiny.
Life isn't always easy. Sometimes the paths we have choose are difficult, sometimes the path isn't even there, you have to make it. Destiny isn't like fate. It is the constant effort and sacrifice we make to move ahead and fulfill our desires. And always remember just because a decision is hard that doesn't mean its wrong, and to struggle for something that means the world to you is better than living the rest of your life in regret.
So don't depend on destiny because you can't depend on something that depends on you. People say that they didn't have a choice. Well, the truth is you always have a choice. There's always a path left, but that path isn't easy. With the motivation and courage we can accomplish our anything. We should have the spirit to never give up. Only talking and thinking won't do, you'll have to do everything you can. Because if you won't then even God himself can't help you.
Many times we are bounded to carry out tasks we don't want to. We say that we are helpless. But that ain't true. I know that we always don't get what we want, but if you think about it, who decides what we should get and what we shouldn't. There's no proof as in who decides what we get. But sometimes we let other people decide our future. People always have an idea on how other people should live their life but none about their lives, so don't let yourself get pressurised under the burden of society. Don't think about what people will say. We only get to live once, this life is ours and we should decide how we should live it and better late than never.
So the question in consideration 'Do we have a choice?' is not the real question but, 'Do you have the courage to make that choice?'
